The general sejm in Warsaw. First sejm in 1667.

This sejm was convened on 31 December 1666. The pre-sejm sejmiks were held in February of 1667. The sejm began proceedings on 7 March 1667. At first, it was prescribed to last for only two weeks but ultimately it was prolonged to six weeks. Andrzej Kotowicz, Great Lithuanian Scriptor, was elected the marshal of the Chamber of Deputies. The matters of funding the national defence and settling debts of the Commonwealth were raised during the turbulent proceedings. The Agreement of Łęgonice, 31 July 1666, was confirmed, what ended the rokosz led by Jerzy Lubomirski. The sejm finished proceedings on 19 May 1667, adopting many constitutions.
