Organic Statute of the Kingdom of Poland

The Organic Statute was signed by the tsar Nicholas I as a result of the failed November Uprising and was intended to put the situation in the Kingdom of Poland in order, after its territory was taken by the Russian troops. The Organic Statute of 1832 (dated, based on the Julian calendar, which was used in the Russian Empire, on 14 February) was a law act, which issuance was stipulated in the constitution of the Kingdom of Poland, in order to develop the constitution. Although it was never officially stated, it in fact replaced the Constitution of the Kingdom of Poland of 27 November 1815, what left the door open to modify the political system of the Kingdom.
